Message from Chris Madsen

We are all on a life journey. Collectively our journeys will go through every emotion and experience life has to offer. Independently we witness through the phases of our life many of these experiences on a personal level. No one escapes grief, love, joy, suffering, traumas and dramas.

My purpose as a musician/songwriter is to express these experiences. I care about songs that strike the chord of your heart. Songs that when heard are felt deeply because you also have gone through or understand this experience.

Many of the songs are instrumentals are for the most part instrumental.. They were written as musical expressions of what we feel deeply but have few words to express. I usually perform solo and so attempt to be a minimalist in recordings to portray what I am live in performance.

I want to musically touch your life in a powerful way. Each song is my way of saying to you let’s share experiences. Through it all there is beauty and a purpose for living. Let’s not deny the grief and sorrow we at times must face, but let’s also celebrate all the beauty and joy and love that is also here.

I enjoy doing performances and am prepared to travel all over the world. Because I perform solo the logistics of gigs is usually simple. I’m looking forward to performing in your area.
